The Self-Service model is designed for those companies with experience managing on-line sourcing events. For customers who need to run a large number of events, this program focuses on getting the buyer up-to-speed quickly on the OnDemandSourcing tools, and allowing them to create and run events in a matter of days.

Services suggested for this model are:

Level 2 Buyer Training: This is a 2-hour, on-line session that familiarizes the buyer with the event types and options. After this training, the buyer will be able to create
> events, as well as conduct mock and live events.

Focuses on the ease of use
Focuses on RFQ and simple auctions
Includes Sourcing Overview and Sourcing Analysis
Provides templates for reverse and multi-line events
Supplier Training: This is a 1-hour, on-line session that familiarizes the supplier with the events that they will be invited to. After this session, the supplier will be prepared to participate in mock and live events.
Focuses on ease of use
Provides instruction on the supplier features of OnDemandSourcing
Includes a Mock event
Administrator Training: This is a 2- to 3-hour, on-line session that familiarizes the administrator or “Buyer super-user” with offering and system administration. After this training, the administrator will be able to manage:
Item categories
Available offering formats
Users and permissions
Event Support: Technical support will be available to the buyer throughout the event life cycle.
